Welcome to Pineland BHDD Services web site and thank you for your interest. We trust that you will find our web site to be useful to you, whether you are a individual seeking services, a concerned family member, a community agency, or a staff member.
Pineland BHDD, as a large public community-based service agency, recognizes that accessing the appropriate services or information can sometimes be challenging. With over 30 service sites in an eight county service area, effective communication is a high priority for our organization. We hope that our web site will serve to improve your access to services as well as offer you a wealth of information. Please take a moment to browse our web site and become familiar with our agency. I hope you will notice the wide array of services we provide. Our expanding services reflect a commitment to many of our core service values. To emphasize just a few:
Strengthened Community Service. Pineland’s dedicated staff provides many services in cooperation with other community agencies and organizations. Services to local jails and prisons, school-based interventions, and job placements with local businesses serve as just a few examples of ways in which we work in partnership with the communities of which we are a part.
Increased out-of-clinic services. We are trying to bring more services into the community and individuals’ homes, rather then relying upon individuals to obtain all services in office settings. Community-based services can be more effective and more easily accessed.
Improved accessibility. Our ACCESS to Care unit provides quicker admission to services for individuals, regardless of county of residence, age, or disability. Also, we have expanded our operation hours to include more evenings and weekends.
Enhanced services to families. Our commitment to providing support to the entire family is reflected in our expanded services to children, increase Family Support service and respite care. Our women’s substance abuse residential treatment program provides therapeutic care for dependent children on site.
While experiencing decreased resources yet increased accountability for public sector behavioral healthcare, Pineland continues to strive to provide quality community-based services and fulfill our organizational mission. We would love to hear from you. Please let us know how you think we are doing. We are always open to any recommendations that would improve our quality of care.
