People with developmental disabilities should be offered the training and opportunity needed to fully develop their potential for independence and self-sufficiency. Pineland provides individuals and their families a variety of supports.
¨ Day and Employment Services are a strong base for the variety of services offered within 8 counties. Employment for adults is offered both within the centers through contracted work and in the community through the Supported Employment Program. Training, habilitation services and case management are also offered in the home and community. Community access services help individuals be a more active member of their community.
¨ Residential Services offer a wide range of living options such as group homes, host homes, semi-independent living arrangements and respite, as well as personal supports are offered to individuals in their own homes.
¨ Family/Natural Support meet individual needs within the family home to postpone out of home placement, i.e. Respite, supplies, therapies, equipment, and camp.
